Work consists of assisting in the developing, implementing, and administering of the various work programs and projects of the Human Resources Office, including but not limited to employment; employee relations; benefits administration; wage and salary administration; employee training; supervisory training; drafting and administration of human resource policies and procedures; etc.

Performs work of routine difficulty involved in assisting and improving and maintaining the physical conditions of facilities and lands, primarily by performing routine manual work.

Work includes: directing the effective and efficient operations and maintenance of all Authority facilities; the management and administration of all capital projects; and the management of the Emergency Response Plans for all facilities. Performs all or significant portions of the duties of the Executive Director in the event the Executive Director is unavailable to perform such duties. Provides Authority members with all required professional engineering advice.

Work consists of providing work direction to carpenters of varying levels of expertise and taking the lead and participating in carpentry/structures maintenance activities including construction, demolition, improvement, rehabilitation, structural repairs, etc. using measuring devices, instruments, hand tools and powered tools common to the trade.
